So often you hear that a picture is worth 1000 words, I don't know the specifics, but I do know that you can tell a story with a picture. I love how songs inspire us, how a song can evoke a picture in your head. There have been songs I've heard as of late, that I've felt compelled to try to convey through a picture. I'd like to challenge each of you bloggers to try the same. Find a song that inspires you, and take a picture that, to you, tells the story. I can't wait to see what you come up with! Abby told me that we needed to check out Ava Heart soon, we went over on Monday and took a look around. I mentally made checkmarks for hearts that I wanted, this was before noticing that each heart is available for just a L$49 donation to Relay For Life. There are just about as many kinds of hearts as you can think of, which one will fit you best? Where will you keep it? They can be worn as an accessory, displayed as art, or even worn in your chest. **There is a disclaimer on the wall for mesh users: Until glitches are worked out and the parametric deformer is implemented, Ava Hearts will not work with mesh clothing that uses an alpha layer on the torso**

The hearts are Mod/Trans and the event runs through March 30th. They would make great Valentines Day gifts for friends and family. I picked up one for Mike, Abby & Sachy - though, there's no way I will be able to wait until then!

An Unexpected Fairytale

I'm a sucker for a twist. I love when a book I'm reading takes an unexpected turn, or a movie ends in such a way that it leaves more questions than answers. I like to take something that you expect to see one way, and change it ever so slightly. When Sachy put this outfit together a couple months ago, I knew I wanted to take this picture. The colors of his outfit gave the feeling of Snow White, though not overtly effeminate. I decided that I wanted to do a shoot that would not be what one would expect from a "Snow White" themed picture, and asked Abby to be the 'Prince.' My goal was to alter the outfit of the traditional prince enough to make it feminine without losing the over all integrity. I immediately thought of this pose set that I've had my eye on for some time. There is a story that reads in local, as you click the rose to change the poses that accompany it, and guess what, there's a twist ending!

Before Christmas, Lyrical Popstar challenged people to take one article of clothing and incorporate it into 3 seperate looks. I chose a cardigan from Nait Smith Designs that I simply adore. Remember how I said that I've embraced Mesh? Well here you have it. My hair isn't mesh, and that's just because the alpha hair pieces disappear on me when I'm shooting with shadows. I found this hair at Exile, I love the way it works with this pose too, it looks like it just gently drapes over the shoulder.

The pants are from JANE, I have been a huge fan of Janie Marlowe since Mischief Fashions. She is a designer that I think has consistently stayed relevant at least my 5 years in world. Her mesh clothes are great, and the prices make it easy to give mesh a try if you're still on the fence.

My feet are the Slink rigged mesh barefeet - sometimes I think I may never wear shoes again... then I remember some errand I need to run, and Abby yells at me when I go out in world with no shoes.

Mulberry - Week 50

Alright darlings, it's a mad dash to finish last years 52 WoC... today. I started last week on 52 WoC - Part Deux with my lovely Sister in Law Portia, I would love to share those as well, but I feel I should finish part one first, especially since I'm so close.

I have fully embraced mesh. That's all there is to it. Belts that fit with little to no effort, shoes and feet that look better than sculpts ever could. The only thing that is slowing me down is that I crash if I try to use windlight and shadows at once, I've found that if I tweak the settings before I turn on shadows, I only crash every 5th picture or so LOL... oh well, you do what you have to, right? I've been living in these boots from Mon Tissu for a few weeks, I secretly keep going back for more colors, I suppose I would have done well to buy the fat pack. I guess I'll know for next time.

This was one of those colors that I'd never heard of. It was also close enough to Liver, that I had a little bit of an issue figuring out what to put together. Everything I would think of at first, I'd just shot a couple weeks before. Thankfully Whippet and Buck released clothing in the 52 WoC colors, so it was just a matter of building around that. When it all came down to it, you can't see the skirt I chose anyway. I've always been intrigued by the very intricate lashes at Glow Studio, I decided I would throw some on for this picture. I don't think they are something that would fit my aesthetic most times, but they are really neat for pictures, and they are so well made.

Moss Green - Week 48

This post has been pending for weeks. Sometimes I just can't think of anything to write, and I put things off. Also, when I took these pictures, I fully planned to give you the SLURL for the train station that I looked so hard to find. Sadly, I've waited so long to post, that I haven't the foggiest clue where I was. The setting was perfect for the picture I wanted to capture, the pose from Magnifique Poses being what I built my idea off of. I forget about this top, I don't wear it often, but every time I do I wonder why I don't wear it more. The cowl neck has 2 options, one with a gold accented bow and one with a diamond accented bow, so it's easy to work around other accessories.

It's snowing. This is not good news. I'm not a fan of cold, and I'm really not a fan of cold and wet, so me and snow really don't get along. The only thing I truly enjoy about winter is big fluffy sweaters. This one is from Fishy Strawberry, and is from last year (sacrilige!) but I can't get enough of it. I loved that the new bandeau bra and the pants from Mon Tissu matched so well, I really felt like it pulled the outfit together.

Brick Red - Week 46

So, I got all thrown off with Firebrick and Brick Red. I'd done firebrick, then when I went back to check on colors, I somehow skipped to Brick Red and shot from there. So, the next 2 or 3 colors are already set and almost ready to post. I was blown away thinking I'd gotten so far, when really, I was 2 behind where I thought I was. Oh well, at least I'm back on track now.

I remember when it was announced that all the AM Radio sims were closing. It seemed like (and may have been) the end of an era. Those sims were so amazingly designed, it was a wonder just to stand in them. I had mistakenly thought that they were all to close in June, and tried to get there as much as possible before they closed. Recently, I started seeing The Far Away as the scene for blogs in the feeds and had to check and see if it was still there. I landed there tonight to see the tall grass, half buried in snow and decided to dig out my What Next sled. My Kari Komrad HUD also seemed like the perfect addition to this shoot, and I'm very happy with the outcome. Word on the street is, this sim is closing soon too, so take advantage of it while you can!

This, my dear friends.... is a stretch. I promise, there's bronze in there. The animal print across the front of the shirt is a shiny bronze looking material, and the bracelets! Oh well, it's there, just trust me. This shirt was from The Dressing Room, I love the dressing room - sometimes I find the neatest things there, and all for L$70 and under, it's a great opportunity to get things from some really great stores at a very affordable price.

Also, these boots.. I'm sure that I don't have to say much as they've been haunting plurk since before the ever talented Gospel Voom even released them. I found myself sitting, at the begining of a long weekend thinking - is it Sunday yet? The fatpack offers 5 colors of boots, and 16 sock options. The detail is immaculate, and I'm sure these boots will be favorites for a long time to come.

Those who know us, know Mike and I are cat people... If you've ever been to an auction, you probably know that many of them are now themed from week to week. We went to one a couple weeks back that was super hero themed. I found this Miss Incredibles costume and really liked it. I love the shine details on the latex and it just seemed really well made. Adam & Eve's Rebel mes boots were the perfect addition to the outfit (the outfit is sold with boots, but you know how hard it is to fight crime with non mesh shoes...) I took a poll on Plurk and everyone (okay, one person) agreed with me, that this would count as "Firebrick" and it gave me the excuse to wear the outfit again!

I don't like liver. That is to say, I guess I don't like liver, I haven't tried it and I don't especially plan to. Anyway... I do love wearing brown, and I adore what I put together for this. The skirt is something that jumped out at me at Willow a couple months ago. I was already so far behind in the 52 WoC challenge that I knew this week was coming, I loved the way the skirt started light and, uhm... reverse faded (is that a thing?) into the dark brown.

The shoes are from the Gos Pimp Your Pumps multi pack. The multi pack comes with 9 styles of shoes in 15 colors with different strap and bow and trim options. The menu is easy to maneuver and you can really make these work with all sorts of styles. I may never need to buy another pair of shoes.... I will.. but I won't need to.

The Lady is a Tramp

The other night, we were all standing around the front porch of the house, where we often congregate, and Sachy says to me "Mom, isn't there a 'p' missing from your group title?" I look up to see my "Tram" tag above my head... "Gee, thanks Son."

Tram is one of those stores I forget about a lot. I'm not sure why. I love the store, and I love the atmosphere. Then you land outside its all marshy and flooded. As you enter the store, the water recedes a little, nut the store itself is still under water. I'd gone to Tram earlier that morning in search of the leggings I was wearing in a different color. While I was there, I did a quick once around the store and was instantly drawn to these bow necklaces, but had no ideas of what to do with them. I try not to buy things blindly, with no direction, as those are the things likely to end up lost in my inventory.

The bows stuck in my head... they were like an earwig. They kept nagging at my subconscious until I found myself back at the store. After a day of some frustrating SL issues, they were finally mine, and I was quite pleased with the outfit that came to be.

I'm sick, the baby's sick. I think that means even less writing than normal. I love green, it's one of my most favorite colors ever.. I'm kind of in love with how this outfit turned out. One of my favorite things about this 52 weeks of color challenge is finding new stores. Today brought me to Lithium Flower, lots of cute things and this particular shirt dress is very well made, I love the detail of the ruffles and buttons on the collar.

The other day Abby IMed me and asked if I'd been to Magnifique Poses, I had seen a few of their poses on the Marketplace and bought from there, but hadn't been to the store. She TPed me over and I was enthralled. So many pose props, which are kinda my favorite things. I picked up a few that I've shown in the last few blogs and one very special prop that Abby sent me... Well 52 weeks of color has officially finished, but for some reason, I'm determined to complete it here as well. Perhaps my new goal should be to finish before Luna starts the whole thing over again... That's right, 52WoCC-Part Deux starts 1/1/12.

I'm forgetting things that I have in my inventory. I'm not sure I've ever worn this sweater before. I love it to bits and were it not named "Melon" I doubt I ever would have come across it again. It's an oldie from Mischief Fashions that I undoubtedly bought in my "Janies rebranding and marked everything down so I have to get it all" frenzy. The thing I love about Janie Marlow's clothing is that is seems to withstand time well. Granted, it's only a year and a half old.. but how long is that in SL time?

I must also mention these jeans, I think the only time lately that I've taken these off, is to put on one of my other colors. Zaara's jeans do amazing thing for SL asses, always have.. These include 4 different cuff types too, so they really work with just about anything.

Remember this post back in May? I have loved my FilterCam since the day I unwrapped it. It's a great way to make pictures have the look of post processing, only Codie did the hard work. The FilterCam is a HUD that makes everything magical. This week, Codie announced that she was releasing an expansion pack for the FilterCam, adding quite a few options to an already vast library. I played around with it tonight, and the above are a couple of examples of things I did. I cannot hope to show even a small percentage of what all is offered in the expansion, but it's easy and fun to play with and I suggest you all give it a chance!

As alluded to in a recent post, I've undergone somewhat of a makeover. New Skin, brown hair - even playing around with new eyes as of this weekend. I'm not sure how long it will stick, but I'm enjoying the change for now.

As if on cue, Elikatira has 70% off everything from now until Oct 30th. It's a great time to change hair color, as I can stock up on these brown packs!

Patriarch Week 38

Well, quite by accident, patriarch week has coincided with Spirit Day for It Gets Better. Today people were asked to wear purple to show their support for the LGBT community. I've worn purple on Oct 20th long before the It Gets Better spirit day began. Purple on Oct 20th entered my wardrobe 7 yrs ago, as a memorial to my niece, killed 8 yrs ago today. Purple was her favorite color. This days weigh heavily on me, I know it is my own fault for giving it that power... but I think some level, I'm worried more about the day when it doesn't... when I don't remember her laugh, or her voice.. or the way she called me "Mike." I'm starting to lose some memories, like, why she called me Mike and not Sarah, but she did, and to this day.. it makes me smile. But I remember how she would put my hair in butterfly clips and feed me colored goldfish crackers, and I remember singing to her as I watched her small white casket sink into the ground.

I miss you Maddie.

Electric Blue Week 35

Abby helped me with this one - there was some debate on what color "Electric Blue" really was - I've seen some more teal, and some darker. She sent me a picture of a dress that was the color of this one, labeled "Electric Blue" I knew I had just the dress for it. This dress is one that I picked up during the Last Call, Last Chance sale. I think I bought most of the store. I was still new to SL at that point, and never had the chance to know Ginny, I'm sad for that as from what I hear, she was a wonderful person who is missed by many.

Ready set, Over load of 52 weeks! I'm way behind - I don't know why I even say that anymore, it pretty well goes without saying anymore. Over the last couple days I've put together some outfits and saved the worn tab NC to a post here, so they're there, the pics are taken - its just a matter of writing.

The shirt I chose here is he fri.day Romcom tank. I have the fatpack of these. There is a wide array of colors available and each color has the option of the lace panel in back to be either a contrasting color to the main fabric, or the same color.. The other thing that I loved is that they are copy/mod, so I've been able to make other colors that might not have come with the pack.

The shorts are from Zaara, she's released a number of pants/shorts/skirts in the last couple weeks and I've gotten to the point now where I just flip between them, they are all impeccably made down to the very last detail. These particular shorts have the option to pick between 7 options for the design on the cuff.

I kept hearing people griping about the difficulty of the Mahogany color challenge. I obviously felt their pain. I did what I normally do first, and searched my inventory for "Mahogany" I came up with this hair from Truth, one of my favorites from last fall. I paired it with wooden bracelets from Zaara, nail polish from Rezlpsa Loc and tinted some Armidi panties.

I used to practice Tai Chi all through high school. My step mom was an instructor and I took her classes, it helped with my balance, knee problems and most of all it was a way to center myself. It's funny to me how something can leave such a memory so deep inside, that when I hop on these Tai Chi pose balls, and see Cady work her way through the form, I can feel myself relax, and let go.

This is an outfit I picked up at Hucci ages ago. I loved the color, and sometimes just really want something more sporty to wear around the grid. It comes with a longer jacket too, but ever since I traded my tattoos for freckles, I've liked showing off my stomach - it doesn't make sense, but oh well, it's my second life! LOL.

I decided to go with more of a denim color feel with this, than just actual denim. I'm so far behind in this challenge that I'm sure everyone has used the denim jackets scattered around the grid. This is an outfit from Emery that I first bought on a different av and decided I needed to buy it again for this one. I love that Emery sells things as separates, but you can also buy full outfits if you prefer, sometimes there are things that are put together that I never would have thought to pair, but work perfectly together. This necklace is from MIEL and was part of FLF a few weeks ago. I cannot say enough good things about this necklace. It comes with a HUD to change the letters and it's fairly idiot proof. There was a matching bracelet available too in the Truth District gifts, though I'm not sure if it is being sold in the store

Every once in a while, in both lives, I come across an accessory that just begs me to build an outfit around it. The TokiDoki hair bows have been this for me lately. To make things worse, they are gacha items. If ever you can't find me - check there. I can't actually pull off ever wearing this particular bow outside of my land (okay, and once to a game of Greedy with friends.) The bows are mod, which means you can tint them (yay, bow for every outfit!) and they are easy to fit with different hair. The outfit should look somewhat familiar - as it's the same as I blogged last but in different colors. I have it in purples too - I promise I'll try not to blog it.

I'm embarrassed to say how long I've had the MechanizedLife - Filter Cam HUD... okay, like since February - and I just got around to unpacking it. Oh my holy crap. For a girl who couldn't photo shop to save her life, this tool brings a whole new side to my in world pictures. All the pics here are straight from SL using a combination of shadows and this Filter Cam HUD.

The pictures feature, as I'm sure you can tell, one of SLs newest craze - Surf Co's Bloom Dolls - Toonip Bloom shown here. I love these dolls, it adds a whole new level to the joy of dressing up in SL. For this shoot, my doll is loosely based off the 1997 cartoon - Pepper Ann, a favorite of mine from college.

I know the hair is overdone... of course, I'm late enough to the party that maybe it's not every 3rd picture on the feeds anymore. Abby has this hair, and she wears it with a HUGE purple flower, I love it and it suits her beautifully. This however means, I can take no credit for the styling of the pouf in the hair..

Have I mentioned before that I love love love tattoo layers? It never ceases to amaze me how much different a skin can look when you change the color of the eyeshadow and/or lips. This shoot was done right after I'd visited pose fair, and incidentally, right when the announcement was made that AM Radio was closing. One of the poses I picked up at pose fair was with this violin and the spot at AM Radio with the violins on the frozen pond was perfect for the shoot.

Sometimes something just comes together, that is how I felt with this shoot. My family will be the first to tell you, I have a problem... There've been whispers of a Mon Tissu intervention, don't think I haven't heard em! Its gotten 10 times worse now that they are available on the Marketplace - at least before I had to tp to the sim and wait 45 mins for things not to rez. During this time of being bumped and trying intently to will things to rez, I could think of things logically, weigh the pros and cons of the items, and the think of other things I might need those lindens for that could be less frivolous, like... tier...

Mon Tissu is not alone in my 'stores I intend to own one of everything' list... Olive Juice was probably one of the first stores that I would rush to at every release, though, I suppose that's rather obvious looking back over flickr and this blog. I picked up the phone at Pose Fair last week, and although I know it's already been all over the feeds, I couldn't resist using it for this shoot.

Spring is here, yeah, it's currently 35°F but it's March 28th dang it! It's Spring! Spring means dragging all those cute shoes and shorts out of inventory. Everything featured in this shoot is something I already owned - for those who know me - that's not normal. I love the Lula sim, I think it's amazing, albeit laggy.. I felt really lucky to find times with not many people. Someone should really teach me how to make the other avatars disappear so I'm not forever cursing under my breath for people to get out of my shot.

Guess who's behind again.... Cady, Queen of U-Know, Procrastination & Double Standards. So, I think I would be completely lost without the Marketplace. I wish that more creators would list there stuff there, it's my go to place when I'm looking for something - easier to look there than LM hopping. My daughter, Abby, is the one who suggested a cloud theme for the sky blue color. I love her styling ideas and I love that she's around to bounce ideas off of. So, she mentioned clouds, and I went straight to the Marketplace, I put in 'Cloud Pose' and here I sit!

Moma got a new toy. I love this camera - it has poses that works well in conjunction with poses you already have. I have it paired with some sits from Olive Juice in this shoot. The camera goes into the shoulder bag while not in use and has an easy HUD to change the look of the camera, and poses.

Alright, secret time... gather round. When I was in 3rd grade I was going to be a ballerina. I convinced my mother to enroll me in ballet classes. I had the black leotard, pink tights, my hair in a bun on the very top of my head.. Yes, there are pictures. No, I won't show you. Well, maybe YOU, but not those other guys.. Oh good! it's an ADD kind of day! *pushes her bangs out of her eyes, straightens her glasses and clears her throat* where was I? Oh yes, ballet class, 8 years old, ever the dreamer. I loved class, and landed the lead dancing roll in our first recital. I was thrilled, this was HUGE... well, to me. Now, before you start telling me that it was huge, you should probably know - there were only three of us.

I was certain that I would progress to being the principle dancer in some amazing ballet company to be named later. Alas, my dreams were dashed when I remembered that I am one of the klutziest people on the face of the earth.. Also, my stepmom pointed out that I have knock knees, and everyone knows you can't be a ballerina with knock knees.

I can't believe we're already through the 17th week of the 52 weeks of color. There are times I get reminiscent and like to go back through the blog and see the seemingly small changes in myself that actually hold much deeper meaning to my second life.. the big face shape mod in October, then from my normal towhead to the ginger locks that have been gracing my head nearly continuously since November. My hair is longer, my posts less melancholy, my second life - once lonesome - now filled with the love of a family I never could have imagined finding.

This weeks pictures find me out on the back deck of our new home, blissfully content with where this new road leads.

Wouldn't you know... I've been neglecting the taupe post for weeks - and this isn't it. This week was somewhat of a splurge week for me. I changed up the skin.. still Redgrave - but a slightly different look, and 16 new makeups, with extra lipstick layers! *squeee* Glitterati has a few new pose sets out, and she's given the store a facelift so you'll have to go check it out! The last stop in my obligatory end of month retail therapy escapade was Mon Tissu, I'm fairly ridiculous when it comes to this store, I will be looking for a Mon Tissu Anonymous group soon if things keep up like this..

Yay! I'm caught up! Well, if you don't count week 12. I'm gonna throw that in as a surprise one of these days.

I've been wanting to shoot at this sim, Barbee, for a few weeks now. I haven't been able to stop thinking about it since Cajsa Lilliehook blogged it here. I was just waiting for the right time, and something about it seemed perfect for this outfit.

In other news - I'm debating skin fair... I've worn my skin for a while now, and I'm not sure that I wanna give it up, but I am ready for new makeups, and the way that the lips are parted, the tattoo makeups don't really do it for me... So, what say you readers? Is it time for a new face, or leave well enough alone?

52 Weeks of Color - Emerald Week 13

Do not adjust your computer monitors - I skipped week 12. Well, not SKIPPED. It's in the works - sets being built and the like. I actually shot these last week, but haven't gotten around to blogging. My SL has been turned on it's head, and I couldn't be happier. A huge hug and thank you to Mike & Abby and their family, for showing me that I'm not actually a loner, and giving me a place to belong.

So, I'm Johnny come lately to the Phoenix Rising party... how sad for me - I've come to love these dresses, and I have this one in several colors, and as I sit here writing this, I can feel the urge to flip back to the SL screen and go check and see if maybe, just MAYBE there is something that I didn't buy yet....

I made it to week 3 of Luna Jubilee's 52 weeks of color and I'm still going strong! This weeks color is Goldenrod - one of my favorite colors! I chose to do a sort of 'Light in the Darkness' thing, I like how the pics came out. This is one of my favorite places to take pics. Foul Whisperings Strange Matters ruins everywhere, and lots of places to explore!

And a lil RL thrown in for good measure - I had my staples taken out on Friday, my oncologist confirmed that everything in the pathology report is good, and said that no further treatment is needed. I will still be under his watch for the next 5 years, but hopefully, no more surgeries!!

Ahh snow... in one of the only places I can appreciate it, online!! Snow is so pretty, and who doesn't love great boots and cute gloves!? I just can't deal with the cold, and the slippery. I'm a big enough klutz as it is, I need no help from mother nature. I got the update note card from {what next} and literally squee'd at the ad for the sled. Really, I love everything she does - if she had a catalog, she could use my house for the model... I scoured the grid for winter gear and found a great coat from Sey, I like that the collar has a lot of options, and resize scripts. Don't get me wrong, I can mod things alright, but when I'm feeling lazy, I am forever grateful for resize scripts! See below for the rest of the credits:

Fall is my favorite season and for some reason, always seems entirely TOO short! Lucky for me, BOOM released some corduroy shorts that just scream fall... I love layering up in SL (thanks LL for all the extra layers) and something about tights, boots & a sweater in the summer just isn't right, no matter what world you're in! So forgive me for being super layered for the next few weeks!

Well SLers... I'm back - for now. Out of the sling, but back into surgery before the end of the year. I'll be a pro by the time this is all over!

So, remember that surgery I alluded to a couple blogs back? Well, what they thought was a 'nothing' vascular tumor for the last 3 years, turned out to be Dermotofibrosarcoma Protuberans.... or in a scary word I understand... Cancer. Now, I've always been a bit of a pessimist on the cancer subject, I come from a long line of Breast Cancer survivors, and always just felt like it was a matter of 'when', not 'if'... skin cancer was the farthest from my mind... I'm so NOT the outdoorsy type, but this type of skin cancer, which effects between 0.8 and 5 people per million (see? I knew I was one in a million!!) has nothing to do with the sun... it can hit anyone, so as my little PSA... don't assume anything is 'nothing' get it checked.

The awareness ribbon for Sarcoma is yellow with a sunflower, so I took this as a chance to don my new FLF dress and G-Field shoes in a lovely field of sunflowers... I love the way the pictures turned out, and will use these as my own 'Awareness Ribbon'

I have become a lover of the 2.0 tattoo layer and have been pining for skin creators to utilize these... More and more they are, and I couldn't be more thrilled!

Someone on my plurk timeline dropped the store name of Chaisuki as a place with high end skins... how ironic - as I'd been searching for a new skin for Weslyn at the time. I hopped on over there and was very impressed - the single packs include the skin with or without a hair base, underware with alternate breast shading, pubic hair & optional tan lines... and.... TATTOO LAYERS!! 3 teeth options & 3 lip shades on the tattoo layers!! The single pack runs at just under L$1400 but for that many options it's hard to beat!

Thanks to Grazia Horwitz for her Bare Rose Blog Challenge today! What a fun thing to spend my Sunday doing... Bare Rose is an amazing store, such an eclectic variety you'd be hard pressed to not have at least ONE thing catch your eye..... Truth be told, I bought 3 outfits today, before I landed on this one for the blog.

I always get a little giddy when I get the new release notecard from >TRUTH<.. This is by far one of my favorite >TRUTH< hairs... for now (til the next one!) I like the look of the bands around the forehead, but I've never found one that I was particularly fond of, but 'Boho' is executed beautifully. As soon as I put it on, I knew the style of dress I wanted to pair it with, and was delighted to come upon this little number at Lelutka. I love the styled, yet almost casual look this dress provides. Just when I thought it couldn't get any better... *KessKreations* comes through again with this gorgeous pearl & flower choker (complete with color change pearls & metals) and new 'Sabina' bracelet (shown in gold).

I love when I find a necklace worthy of building an outfit around, or in this case... when it finds me! (*mwah* Thanks Kess <3!) The detail that Kesseret Steeplechase puts into each of her pieces is amazing to say the least. I'm hard pressed to figure out my favorite part of this necklace.. everything is color changing, from the metals, to the stones, bow & roses.... You can truly customize this to go with anything you can think of. The first thing that jumped to my mind though, was the new dress with t-shirt from Tiny Bird, the orange option for the bow in the necklace, plays off the branch in the dress beautifully!

I love the look of a broken strand of pearls.... but it just gets so messy in RL ^.^ not to mention dangerous! Mama said there'd be days like this....

Truth be told, I've been searching the grid for about 5 months for a good 'crying' skin... I'm the kind of girl who wears her heart on her sleeve.. I've never been one for hiding emotions.
